Our St. Catharines sales office is seeking a self-motivated,
dedicated team player with electrical knowledge to fulfill an
inside sales position. The successful candidate will work our
National Sales Manager to support and expand our national network
of Sales staff, Agents, Distributors and End Users.
Responsibilities will include providing inside sales service by
way of phone, fax, e-mail or in person. Other duties include order
entry and order expediting, assist in marketing, cold calling.
PC skills such as Word, Excel, Adobe, Internet and E-Mail would be
an asset. Electrical product knowledge is preferred.
Our continuing training programs and interaction with our
technical and marketing staff will ensure you have the product and
sales support to excel at this position.

Responsibilities:

Provide Sales Support to Sales
staff, Agents, Distributors and End Users.

Manage ongoing sales process in a leadership fashion, develop
relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction

Strengthen and increase sales relationships with key
Distributors and Agents.

Coordinate the sales and customer service efforts with Outside
Sales and Purchasing. Ensuring on time deliveries and
pro-active follow ups.

Ensure in-depth and current knowledge of customers, as well as
strengths and weaknesses of competitors.

Pro-actively look for sales opportunities and generate leads
to be followed up by the regional agent.

Assist in the development of sales and marketing material such
as flyers, posters, banners and trade show literature.
Qualifications:
-
3 - 5 years inside/counter sales experience with an electrical
distributor or equivalent

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to build strong customer and supplier relationships
-
A strong desire to provide excellent customer service
-
Good computer skills
-
Must be a customer service/sales-oriented person, possess
excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player
-
Knowledge of Surge Suppression products a benefit.
